Empowering Diversity in Publishing

A Networking Event and Panel Featuring the 2024 Robin Seaman Award Winners

Join us for an inspiring evening of networking and learning what your fellow Bay Area publishing professionals are up to—and how you can take part!

This event will feature a panel with the 2024 Robin Seaman Award winners as they share how they’re taking charge of their careers and centering diversity and inclusion in their work. From editorial to marketing, the award recipients offer unique insight into different areas of publishing while sharing their own paths to growing their careers and the ways they’re thinking about DEI in the publishing industry. You’ll learn how the recipients are using their award to make a difference, what diversity means to them, and how you can apply for the 2025 award.

This is a great opportunity to connect with the Bay Area publishing community while tapping into some of the things that make our work meaningful. Whether you want to support our award winners, find inspiration for your own career, or simply enjoy free wine and snacks, we’d love to see you there!
